Create and configure a permission set

Once the ‘Create Audit Fields’ permission has been enabled this system permission has to be assigned to the central service account.

Instructions

  1. In Salesforce go to Setup.

  2. Search for Users > Permission Sets.

  3. Create a new Permission Set:

     

  4. Give a name to the new permission set (for example: Set audit Fields Permission Set) and save it:

     

  5. Once it is created it will be open for editing. Scroll down and click on System permissions:

     

  6. The System Permissions page will be shown. Click on Edit:

     

  7. Find Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation and check it:

     

  8. Press Save to save the permission set:

     

  9. Confirm the changes by pressing Save again:

     

     

  10. Assign the DocuFlow service account to the permission set by pressing Manage Assignments:

     

  11. Choose Add Assignments:

     

  12. Select the service account you want to assign the Permission Set to and press Assign:
