Enable 'Create Audit Fields' permission

When using a service account, documents and record changes are made with the service account username. It is possible to change this behavior by enabling the Create Audit Fields permission in Salesforce.

Instructions

  1. In Salesforce go to Setup.

  2. Search for Platform Tools > User InterfaceUser Interface.

  3. Under Setup choose for Enable "Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation“ and "Update Records with Inactive Owners" User Permissions:

  4. Press Save.
