Step 6a: Connect DocuBuilder with AFAS

Add the AFAS data obtained in the previous steps to the DocuBuilder settings:

  1. AFAS service account:

  • Username

  • Generated token

2. AFAS App connector:

  • API key

  • Environment key

  • AFAS environment name (for example, O12345AA)

Step by Step

  1. The confirmation email with actions to perform before the first use of the software contains the appendix description of the cloud environment. This manual is different for each customer and can be found in the customer portal.
    The first chapter of this manual describes the URL of the DocuBuilder environment used.

  2. Launch DocuBuilder using this URL: https://xxxxxxx.platform.documizers.com/DocuBuilder Where xxxxx is the environment(=instance) name.

  3. DocuBuilder starts with the login page. Enter Username and Password and press [Login]. At this first startup, a temporary user firstsetup@documizers.com is used. Please change this one!

  4. From the DocuBuilder home screen, proceed to the Settings. Click on "Your Company" → Settings

     

  5. In settings, go through to the AFAS environment settings.
    AFAS → Environments → Select default environment → [Edit]

     

  6. Enter here the data retrieved from AFAS in the previous steps:

    • Environment (AFAS environment name, for example O12345AA)

    • API Key (AFAS API key)

    • Environment Key (AFAS environment key)

    • Service account (user name AFAS service account)

    • Service URL (AFAS URL, for example https://12345.soaptest.afas.online)

    • Token (token of the service account)

  7. Test the connection
