There are multiple ways for DocuFlow to save documents and update data in Salesforce. One of these ways is to use a dedicated service account. This way end-users don’t have to change their security token every time their password changes. When using a service account, documents and record changes are made with the service account username. It is possible to change this behavior by enabling the Create Audit Fields permission in Salesforce.

Instructions

  1. In Salesforce go to Setup.

  2. Search for Platform Tools > User InterfaceUser Interface.

  3. Under Setup choose for Enable "Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation“ and "Update Records with Inactive Owners" User Permissions:
