DocuFlow - settings for SharePoint

DocuFlow is linked to SharePoint via a service account.
The following describes where to configure the link to SharePoint.

Step by Step

  1. Configure the SharePoint connection

  • In DocuFlow, click on Configuration (1) → [Plugins] (2).

  • Select the plugin Office 365 / SharePoint - retrieve file(s) (3) → [Change user data] (4).

  • Click Connections (5).

  • Select the line with SharePoint (6) → [Edit] (7)

  • Enter the details for the SharePoint connection:

    • Naam = Name of the SharePoint connection ('SharePoint')

    • URL = Name of SharePoint Site where DocuFlow connects to SharePoint

    • Authentication type
      Linking from with the SharePoint service account. See: Create a service account in SharePoint

      • OAuth
        'OAuth' authentication is easily obtained via the [Authentication] button.

        • Then enter the SharePoint service account and password.

        • After which the account is automatically linked to DocuFlow.

      • Basic
        The 'Basic' authentication can only be used, when no MFA is set at the Service account.
        In this case, of the SharePoint service account, only the username (Service account) & password is entered.

  • The service account may not yet have OAuth authentication granted to DocuFlow.
    Request it from your SharePoint administrator, via:

2. Test the connection

  • Click [Test connection]

3. For the other SharePoint plugin 'Office 365 / Sharepoint - retrieve and save file(s)', perform the above steps again.
