There are multiple ways for DocuFlow to save documents and update data in Salesforce. One of these ways is to use a dedicated service account. This way end-users don’t have to change their security token every time their password changes.

When using a service account, documents and record changes are made with the service account username. It is possible to change this behavior by enabling the Create Audit Fields permission in Salesforce.
