External environment

When manually creating new users, 3 components are important:

  1. Personal data (link with Windows username / data for reuse in templates and text blocks of DocuBuilder / rights as administrator / template manager / etc. (see Personal dataarchived)

  2. Roles and rights (rights for using templates and text blocks) (see Roles and rightsarchived)

  3. External systems (integration to systems such as AFAS / Dynamics CRM 365 / Business Central / Salesforce / etc)

DocuBuilder can be started directly from external environments.
This automatically links DocuBuilder to the user name of the respective external environment.

For every integration, at least one username has to be provided so the integration can be established.

After DocuBuilder is started, additional data is retrieved from the corresponding integration.
With regards to rights, 2 types of users can be set here:

  1. via a service account, which is specified centrally

  2. via the users themselves, so that rights to them can be set individually
